Description
Image of two women in flowing garments sitting with a cornucopia full of produce and a sword with scales of justice at the center of a certificate from the Seneca County Agricultural Society of New York; the women sit on either side of an eagle resting atop a shield emblazoned with a waterfall; farmer plowing his fields with a team of horses at right; cattle drawing a wagon full of hay at left.
Single-color print. "Lithographed and published by Endicott & Co. N.Y."--text, bottom center of image. "Awarded this Diploma to Miss Imogene L[atham?], Seneca-Falls for Ladies Riding Match exhibited at their annual fair, 1855. Miranda Almy Geo. S. Conover, Secy. J. W. Bacon, Prest."--handwritten mss and printed text, bottom center of image.
