Item originally owned by illustrator Curtis Wager-Smith (1870-1950). Date supplied by cataloger based on copy held by the Metropolitan Museum, New York. "FH."--text, artist's monogram on stone, bottom left of image. "Designed by Frank Hazenplug."--text, bottom left margin. "Printed by Stone & Kimball Chicago."--text, bottom right margin.
