Description
Shown is a postcard commemorating the Fifteenth Annual National Irrigation Congress held in Sacramento in early September 1907. The National Irrigation Congress was founded in 1891 and served to advance the interests of irrigation and agriculture in arid regions of the United States. The 15th Congress, held in Sacramento, was intended to promote local interest in government irrigation programs, particularly the Wright Act.
