The third section includes images of an excursion on the Santa Fe and the Sierra railroads from Oakland to Tuolumne, dated October 19, 1952. It includes footage of the excursion train in the Santa Fe Oakland station, the Berkeley passenger station, a photo run-by at Muir Trestle in Martinez, the Riverbank passenger station, shots of the passenger train (Santa Fe No. 3450 and, later, ATSF No. 2678), and concludes with Sierra Railroad locomotives No. 34 and 36 pulling the train to Tuolumne.
