Description: Shown is a postcard of the Sisters of Mercy Nursing Home from 1965, the front of which shows three nursing home occupants sitting in the lobby while two nurses stand. The Mercy Nursing Home was completed as an extension of Mercy General Hospital two years prior in 1963. Mercy General and the nursing home expansion was built in East Sacramento between J and H streets.
