Description
View of Newport Pier, where sightseers are seen strolling along. The first photograph caption reads, "There's no holiday for dory fishermen at Newport Pier, left, they're out every morning. Sightseers stroll along the bay near the Landmark Pavilion, above, and Moby, the Newport Dunes leviathan, accommodates swimmers." Second caption dated April 14, 1989 reads, "The pier provides a perfect setting for a relaxing morning stroll after a cultural night at the Performing Arts Center. Along the route fast-food stands are available for a quick hot dog or burger."
