Description
Construction of the observatory dome for the 100-inch telescope building, Mount Wilson Observatory. A portion of a crane extends beyond the roof line of the dome itself. The steel framing for the dome is in place; the steel sheathing is seen just below the top of the dome. Scaffolding surrounds the concrete foundation and a portion of the dome framing. Trees and shrubs are in the surrounding area.
