In this image, Martha Longenecker, the Director of Mingei International Museum of World Folk Art (tenure, 1974 – 2005) is pictured in front of display cases containing works by ceramic artist Laura Andreson. The photographer, Gail Natzler (not pictured) documented the concurrent exhibitions, “Laura Andreson — A Fifty-Year Retrospective in Clay” and “Eve Gulick — Three Decades of Weaves and Innovations.”
