Description
The woman wears a light brown dress with leg-of-mutton sleeves and a bateau neckline. The dress has two rows of brown, leafy decorations at the hemline and four rows of brown, rectangular designs on the bodice. A brown band encircles the woman's natural waistline. She wears pale cream gloves, white stockings, and flat, brown shoes. Her jewelry consists of a long, gold necklace, a short strand of pink beads with a central blue bead at the neck, and two gold bracelets with red stones, one on each wrist. The woman wears a white cap with two large, lacy, white ruffles at the brim. The cap is trimmed with a circlet of pink roses and has two long, pink ribbon ties. A pale yellow shawl with yellow fringe and a white border patterned with pink flowers hangs from the crook of the woman's left elbow. She stands in front of a small, square, pedestal-type table with a drawer, gold edging, blue accents, and ornate feet. A blue vase with a bouquet of multi-colored flowers stands on the table.
