Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on May 30, 1972 states: "Holiday sunbathers at South Lake Tahoe's Regan Beach found conditions nearly ideal yesterday with the thermometer reaching a high of 74 degrees there during the afternoon. Law enforcement officials reported casinos, highways and beaches were mobbed, but added that everyone was "having a fine time and behaving reasonably well."
