This northeasterly view down Del Paso Boulevard, captured in 1927, reveals several businesses: Bliss Tire Works at 1816 Del Paso Blvd., Lockhoof Barber Shop at 1820 Del Paso Blvd., Dunn's Pharmacy at 1823 Del Paso Blvd., Boulevard Mercantile Company at 1825 Del Paso Blvd., Brooke Realty Company at 1914 Del Paso Blvd., and Wessing and Mountain Grocery at 1920 Del Paso Blvd. The photograph was taken just three years after the city of North Sacramento incorporated in 1924; it merged with the city of Sacramento in 1964. Orange Avenue intersects on the left of the frame. Automobiles are moving two ways along the street and several are parked curbside.
