Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph caption dated September 14, 1959 reads, "Who Says We Can't Bake A Cake? Two 12-year-old North Hollywood boys, David Walser, right, 4438 Simpson Ave., and pal Rickey Andrew, 11551 Kling St., had done just about everything else during summer vacation so, as final touch to summer experiences, they decided to bake a devil's food cake. Here, after hour of mixing and hoping, they remove 'cake' from Walser oven. 'So what if it came out of the pan in handfuls,' David said, 'it still tasted good!'"
