Photograph caption reads, "Hundreds of Southland residents were on hand at 9 o'clock this morning when the doors of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art opened for the first time on the treasures found in the tomb of Tutankhamun. The 55 3,300-old priceless artifacts are expected to attract more than a million people during its stay in Los Angeles." Photograph dated Feb. 15, 1978.
