Photo taken of family and friends strolling amongst the rock structures at Land's End Beach in San Francisco. Land's End is considered to be San Francisco's wildest and rockiest coast. Although a small sandy cove, it is a place strewn with shipwrecks and widespread landslides. The cliffs are characterized by dark, hard rock rising in immensely detailed formations up to 300 feet in some areas. And in the surf below, there are two submerged but treacherous rock outcroppings, Mile Rock and Point Lobos, of which only the tips are exposed. This area is a national parkland and is owned and operated by GGNRA (Golden Gate National Recreation Area). Notice the period clothing and very elaborate hats that the women are wearing.
