Photograph of a shop on the southeast corner of 7th Street and Grand Street, Los Angeles, 1912. A two-story shop with clapboard veneer stands on the corner, riddled with signs. A cloth canopy extends from its right side, where more shops continue down the sidewalk. A tall tenement building can be seen behind them to the right, while one individual stands and the other bends from the waist in the extreme left foreground. A utility pole stands next to a tall, slim fire hydrant at the corner.
