Photograph was edited for publication purposes The Bob Baker Marionette Theater is located at 1345 W. First Street in Los Angeles and houses a children's theater as well as studio space where designers create and produce unique hand-crafted marionettes. The building was built in 1953 and was later purchased by Bob Baker and his partner Alton Wood and used as a live children's theater showcasing their marionette creations. In 2009, the Bob Baker Marionette Theater was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
