Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the old Los Angeles County Court House and the Los Angeles Hall of Records, 1926. The buildings were located at the corner of Temple Street and Broadway in the Civic Center of Downtown Los Angeles. A four-story building with vines growing up the sides and a small tower on top can be seen at left. It is connected to a taller building at right at the second, third, and fourth stories. Stairs lead up to the building from the street lined with automobiles in the foreground. Bushes form the word "[...]ouse" on a grass lawn to the left of the stairs. Palm trees and light posts are also visible.
