Description
Poscard front reads "Cascade Drive, Mill Valley, Cal." Looking along Cascade Drive at a bridge over Old Mill Creek. Other than the street being paved, this view has not changed much since the photo was taken in the winter of 1907. Card was mailed from Mill Valley to "Miss Hazel Terry, 3025 Fillmore St., San Francisco, Cal." with message reading, "Was happy to hear from you. Trust I may see you soon. Love to you and the mother - Yours, etc. - Nettie" Postmarked Sept. 30, 1907. Made in Germany for W. I. Price, Mill Valley, Cal. (One of a series of Mill Valley postcards published by Price in 1907 after the divided back style postcard was made legal that year.) Description provided by Phil Rhodes.
