This is a photograph of a "coffin. The wood used is procurable only in Lau Chau a forest district in Kwangsi [now Guangxi] Province, and it's hardness and quality enable it to whithstand decay for hundreds of years, thus it's great value. Such a coffin costs on an average at least $1000.00 Mex."
