Captions read, "1) S Pol'shei my zakliuchim mir 2) no s etim mirit'sia nel'zia 3) ne mozhet byt' mira ili 4) ei, tovarishchi, skorei baronsko-pomeshchichei shaike mogily vyroem / С Польшей мы заключим мир 2) но с этим мириться нельзя 3) не может быть мира или 4) эй, товарищи, скорей баронско-помещичей шайке могилы выроем", meaning, "We will signed a truce with Poland, but the rest of our enemies must be destroyed and buried".
