Description
Robert Clary discusses his book, “From the Holocaust to Hogan’s Heroes.” He begins by explaining how the book is an autobiography of his life, which begins with his childhood in France during World War II. Clary discusses his career in entertainment and shares how his fascination with show business began in his early childhood and the difficulties he faced as a Jewish performer during the war. He goes on to share his last memories of his parents as they were taken away in a cattle car to a concentration camp. Also in this interview Clary discusses his eventual move to the United States and his career in American entertainment. He also tells of his experiences on the television show “Hogan’s Heroes.”
