Photograph caption dated October 4, 1958 reads, "Mobile blockhouse ingenuity - Old tank which has seen its last days of battle now serves as mobile blockhouse for technicians who drive it around during engine fire-ups to get closer look. Tank is painted white and window has replaced cannon. Heat from missile engine reaches 5,000 degrees - hot enough to melt cement like butter."
