Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated September 16, 1961 partially reads, "Harold Oman is a man with two homes but only one house. Monday through Friday he lives with his wife and two children in a quiet residential area at 538 N. Mariposa Ave., Burbank. On Weekends, he makes use of his second home which can be set up anywhere in Southern California in the time it takes to drive there. Oman's second home is an eight-foot camper stocked with an ice box, three burner stove, beds, pots and pans, sleeping equipment and fishing rods. The camper, purchased in June for about $700, is mounted on the back of a 1961 (Chevrolet) pickup truck. When the Oman's 13-foot fiberglas [sic] motorboat is attached to the back of the truck you have the ingredients for a weekend of fun and excitement." Harold Oman family prepares for weekend 'camper' trip.; See images #00126713 through #00126716 for all photos in this series.
