A view of Pickfair, the home of Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks in Beverly Hills, from the garden facade across the expansive lawn. The right wing, with its tall chimney, is part of the original hunting lodge that stood there. It was adjusted in design to harmonize with the new portion built in 1920. The house was remodelled by Neff, the original architect, in 1926. More changes were made to the interiors in time for guests who came to Los Angeles for the 1932 Olympics. It was also remodelled in 1936 and 1941. It was originally built in the 'teens. Fairbanks and Pickford travelled extensively and needed room for their collections obtained in travel.
