Photograph of the Los Angeles Police Bicycle Squad in the Mounted Police Parade on Broadway north of fifth, May 24, 1904. The officers are seen from behind in the extreme foreground trailing into the distance. Signs on the buildings along the roadside read "Broadway Meat Market", "Pacific Fish and Oyster", "Delicatessen" and "M. Codie". Trollycar tracks are apparent in the road, which does not appear to be paved.
