Description: Photograph of U.S. Naval Air Station at Montauk, Long Island, New York, 1919. Enclosed with a letter to Lee de Forest from Wallace P. Dunmore, dated 29 November 1957, in which Dunmore writes, "I am enclosing...a snapshot I took of the USN Air Base at Montauk, which shows the 'NAH-1' East tower and the 'Blimp' hanger in back of the Seaplane hanger."
