Description
Photograph of a Santa Monica Palisades scene with girls on a rustic railing, 1928. A palm tree in the right foreground can be seen framing the scene, its leaves extending over the top of the photograph. An unpaved footpath can be seen ahead of the palm tree, and two women can be seen looking out onto the ocean. One woman can be seen sitting on a driftwood fence that extends around the perimeter of the footpath. The second woman can be seen standing, wearing trousers and riding boots, one of her legs leaning on a portion of the driftwood fence. The ocean can be seen in the distance, as well as a mountainous coastline on the horizon. Compares to CHS-36509.
