Description
With newly completed Argonaut. Note with photograph: Lee Brusse, Bert Kinner, Walter Hengst and Ray Mertz with the newly completed Argonaut, May 1924. Commissioned by Dr. T.C. Young, the Argonaut, otherwise known as "The Honeymoon Express", was considered a huge airplane. A number of weddings were performed within its ample confines high above Glendale. "Doc" Young was usually at the controls, with Rev. Calderwood officiating. (W.B. Kinner Jr.)
