Photograph shows J. R. Freeman and son, Leslie, driving Princelle or Prince L., one of California's most famous sulky race horses. Won many state fair races at Sacramento. The robe seen in the buggy is now in possession of L.J. Freeman. About 1906. Stamped: San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, San Leandro, Calif. Written: Return to Burroughs.
