Left, quarterback Max Choboian, the team's leading passer, cock's his arm to throw. Center, charging Schaffer pave the way for fullback Bill Storm Schaffer pave the way for fullback Bill Storm (center) [sic] to gain some yardage. In the photo at right is pictured the leading pass interceptor in the California Collegiate Athletic conference, defensive halfback Jerry (Bird-legs) Crawford. The fleet Birdman has snared seven enemy passes this year to go with the total of 17 by the Matador defense."
