Description: Caption from October 26, 1987 Sacramento Bee reads, "A likeness of Capt. John Sutter gazes across 28th Street toward Sutter's Fort from his post out side Sutter Memorial Hospital." The statue of John Sutter stands near the north east corner of 28th and L Street on the lawn of Sutter Memorial Hospital near it's entrance. These ladies walk south on 28th Street.
