Photograph of an aerial view of Brunton Studio, and its surroundings, 1918. The studios are at left, identified by several large buildings which are likely sound stages to the right of these is a lot full of movie sets, and right of this lot is a large field with only a few trees and several meandering paths. Tree-lined Melrose Avenue can be seen on the right side of the studio, and beyond this road are the dense buildings of the city of Los Angeles. Additional information: The land west and north of Brunton is the Hollywood Cemetery which was established in 1899. Across Melrose at the South-East corner of Melrose and Van Ness is Billy Clune's studio.
