Description
Photograph of a motorized float at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses celebration, ca.1910. A box-like float covered in flowers and other plant material rides along on a paved street with a set of tracks. A group of young women in fancy dress can be seen in the box-shaped float, along with a single man. Archways of flowers extend above the people while a portion is painted over with black and white paint in the shape of flowers. Buildings are visible in the background while a crowd of people can be seen in the right distance. Photoprint identifies the colors of the float as "red, white and green".
