Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated June 10, 1958 reads, "A 1949 station wagon bearing blood stains in front seat is shown shortly after it was abandoned in Valley Times parking lot today after North Hollywood robbery. Bandit demanded use of car for escape, pistol whipped owner who pursued suspect." The assailant had just robbed the North Hollywood Department of Water and Power when he attacked the owner of the station wagon, Arthur Braklein of Encino who was in the area purchasing newspapers.; See images #00120854 through #00120855 for all photos in this series.
