Photograph article dated September 16, 1958 partially reads, "A bartender at a Sylmar cafe was booked on suspicion of murder early today after he allegedly pumped four bullets into a customer who had returned to the tavern after being ordered to keep out. Lester E. Moberg, 51, an employe [sic] at 13989 San Fernando Rd. was arrested by Valley Division police after he assertedly shot and killed Thomas C. Odekirk, 31, a Lockheed missile plant worker, of 11006 Woodley Ave., Granada Hills, last night. The victim was dead on arrival at Sun Valley Receiving Hospital. Police said one 22-caliber bullet hit him in the chest, another in the back. A fifth missed him and hit a wall." Photograph caption reads, "Leslie E. Moberg, 51, left, Sylmar bartender booked as murder suspect after patron was shot, leaves Van Nuys jail for questioning by Det. Lou Bell."
