Photograph article dated December 4, 1964 partially reads, "Bill Fisk, USC's talented guard who was asked to perform above and beyond the required norm during the past season due to numerous team injuries, today was named to the first team Associated Press all-America squad as a guard. The 6-ft. 2-in. 205-lb. senior from San Gabriel, surprisingly not drafted by any of the pro teams, played a full four quarters on both offense and defense against Washington with Jim Vellone injured." Photograph caption reads, "USC's All-American guard Bill Fisk - Trojan named to first team."
