Description
"Professor V. E. Nash and Family of Colombia, Missouri., enroute to the Orient aboard the Dollar liner President Coolidge. Prof. Nash, a member of the faculty at the U. of M. school of Journalism, has been assigned to the Missouri's school branch in Peiping University where we will attempt to make future Horace Greeley's out of young Chinese." Mrs. Nash at left, a boy about eight and a girl a few years older, Professor Nash at right, standing on the deck of the ship and squinting into the sun.
Yenching University was later known as Yanjing da xue.
