Photograph of an oil field in Huntington Beach seen through fog, 1935. A small strip of asphalt is shown in the extreme foreground, behind which a clump of scrub vegetation can be seen. Past this, piles of earth can be seen scattered along the moors. In the far distance along the horizon, the blurred outlines of numerous oil derricks can be seen.
