Supplementary material reads: "Bob King -- Steve Baer. LA C of C, RI 2441, (home phones ME 41231, SU 30128). For Wednesday, 11-28, Examiner. California flag to be flown over Duncanville, Texas, base of 147th AC&W squadron is given to American Airlines Stewardess Rosalie Burks by Maj. Gen. Harcourt S. Hervey (ret.), of Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce armed forces committee, for shipment to Lone Star State. The 147th is a former Van Nuys, Calif. air national guard unit which was activated May 1, and has been stationed in Texas since May 20".
