Description
Letter from Louis J. Borie, agent and distributor of Metz Motor Cars in at 1119 Van Ness Ave. in San Francisco, CA dated August 13, 1912. The letterhead is illustrated with a 1912 Metz "22" automobile, the tagline "ideal runabout for business or pleasure," and the price "$575 delivered in San Francisco." The car's features are listed on the left-hand side of the page. The text of the letter recommends that the Oakland Public Library purchase a Metz car to be used in making deliveries between library branches.
