Photograph of an exterior view of the Griffith Park Observatory showing three teenage boys hiking on a trail nearby, 1930-1950. The observatory is on a hill at right. It is a light-colored building with three large domes on the roof. Small rectangular windows can be seen around the perimeter of the main building. The hill below the building is covered with an assortment of trees and bushes. A narrow dirt trail can be seen in the foreground at left, and three boys are visible walking a dark-colored dog. Photoprint reads "A favorite hike for youngsters as well as adults is to Griffith Observatory".
