Description
"This used to be a storage building for the county library. Now the structure at 3257 Folsom Boulevard is an antique shop called the Renaissance. Its manager, Veva-Jean Crites, says the name comes from the reuse in its decor of structural details from buildings now gone. The front doors and iron work on the windows are from the old Fox Theater in San Francisco; the lions on top, from the old Stockton, San Joaquin County courthouse; the iron gates in front of the door, form an old San Francisco mansion. Inside, the entry marquee and wooden panelings are from the Tahoe Tavern"
