Photograph of a view of the lake in Westlake Park in Los Angeles, [s.d.]. The large body of water is at center and is very calm. In the foreground at left, a man in a long coat and a hat stands behind a park bench and gazes out over the water. A palm tree and several bushes can be seen in the foreground as well. Across the lake, a small number of boats can be seen tied up to small docks. The conical roof of a boathouse is visible at right. In the background, two tall buildings are visible over the tops of the trees that surround the lake. The name of the park was later changed to MacArthur Park.
