Description
Patchwork quilt in block pattern with pinwheels, interspersed with smaller pinwheel blocks and solid rectangles. Many different fabrics in this quilt, with differing levels of deterioration. Half of the solid rectangles in the pattern are on a pink striped cotton printed with red tulips, and this fabric is all in good condition; the other half are on a variegated purple/lavender striped cotton printed with small white flowers and tiny white stars, and this fabric is in the worst condition of any on the quilt, with only scraps remaining where the quilting stitches are. Many of the other fabrics are badly deteriorated, but the pattern retains its visual appeal. Backing is a cream colored cotton printed with narrow gray stripes. Edges are bound in a tan cotton, which is yellowed and badly worn.
