Photograph caption date stamped February 28, 1961 reads "San Fernando High School has one of the best infields in prep baseball in these four young Tigers. They are, from left, Art Valenzuela, first base; John Barker, second base; Harry Lawing, shortstop, and Bob Mitchell, third base. All are veterans and handy with glove as well as the bat."
