Photograph caption dated March 30, 1959 reads "Norris Small, as Pop Clifton in Stagg Street PTA comedy, 'Pistol Pete,' hasn't a chance against 'subtle' tactics of husband-hunting 'widder,' Barkin' Bess, as played by Irene Black. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. April 4 and 5 in school auditorium, where olio acts will fill intermission and free (with admission) refreshments will fill audience." Stagg Street Elementary School is in Van Nuys.
