Photograph of Maryknoll Sisters Eugene Heerey and Betrand Whitney standing outdoors with eleven Japanese children. The girls wear kimonos and the boys wear western-style clothing. "The little Japanese children who came every morning during our stay at Haleaha, 'to hear about Jesus.' They wore kimonos especially for this occasion. All are unbaptized except three."
