Description
Exterior view of a small building at the Mission San Diego de Alcala, showing palms and gardens, 1898. The low wooden building, possibly a residence, can be seen at center. It has a narrow covered porch and a roof covered with wooden shingles. The view of the building is mostly obstructed by a number of large trees, including a very tall palm tree in the foreground at center. A windmill labeled "The Aermotor" can be seen above the trees at left. A low wire fence is visible in the foreground, while rolling hills can be seen in the background.
