Description: Exterior view of the new Valley Police Headquarters at 6240 Sylmar Avenue, Van Nuys (in the Valley Administrative Center). The new headquarters will be dedicated June 4--hold an open house for a few days and then go into operation. Capt. F. Edward Thomas (civilian clothes) will command the new headquarters and Capt. Peter F. Hagan (in uniform) will be in command of a new division, Motors & Traffic, when the new building is opened. Photo dated: May 5, 1964.
