Description
City College students Mike Greenhal (R) and "Twig" (no other name given) display principal items which make their car (rear) run on "chicken power." It's fueled by compressed meth gas produced by decomposing chicken manure. The gas, which they claim is cleaner and give more power than conventional fuels, is fed into the car carburetor thru a converter device (lower L). Once converted at a cost of $100-150, the car can switch from methane to propane or conventional fuel. The students, working on a pilot project called "Alternative Energy Research," claim 100-lbs. of manure produces enough methane to propel a normally 20 mpg car 400 miles.
